Here’s a festive smoothie to enjoy this season. The fresh cranberries make it a perfect December drink (though it’s delicious any time of the year)!
The cranberries provide a good dose of Vitamin C while chia seeds add in a boost of Omega 3 fatty acids, calcium, iron and zinc to help keep your immune system strong. Plus raw honey is loaded with anti-bacterial properties. I hope this drink helps to keep you merry throughout the busy next few weeks!
Add to Vitamix or Blender:
2 cups almond milk
1 cup water
1 cup fresh cranberries
2 Tbsp. chia seeds
2 Tbsp. raw honey
1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
Blend on high for 3 minutes. Pour into a glass and drink up!
Optional: Add in 1 tsp. powdered probiotic.
