Top 11 Posts of 2011 & Abundant Gratitude

2011 is almost over?!
It’s amazing how one’s life can change in a year. I started this blog six months ago to help my husband feel connected to others who live without gluten. Our entire family now eats gluten free and we haven’t felt better!  I honestly can’t remember the last time one of us was sick from a cold, flu, etc. I truly believe avoiding gluten and eating whole, nutrient-dense food has built up our immune systems. My husband and I both have more energy which is remarkable as our days are spent  chasing after our 4 year old daughter and 1 year old son!
I’ve compiled the top 11 posts from my blog in 2011. Next year my list will be from an entire year, not just the last six months. I hope you enjoy checking out the recipes!
Here are the top 11 most popular recipes of 2011:

I want to personally thank all of my readers as you encourage me to create new recipes. A big thanks to the many fellow bloggers who inspire me daily and of course to my family for testing all of my recipes and my lovely French husband who is not afraid to tell me if something needs more sauce on it 🙂
May 2012 bring you and your loved ones good health, happiness and lots of laughter. As for me, I hope many more wonderful recipes will be on the horizon. I am grateful for all the support from my readers.
Happy New Year from my family to yours!

  14. Laura, I am so looking forward to giving the Raspberry Pancakes a go. It is so hard to find good pancake recipes that I can make without eggs, diary, and gluten 😛 One of these days, I will find one that works with the substitutions and my daughter will be very happy 🙂 Thanks for sharing all of these. This is great!!

  15. Hope you get a chance to try the sushi rolls. We made them for dinner again last night and everyone gobbled them up!

Mary, I'm glad you found an allergy free pancake recipe for your daughter.

  16. A very happy new year to you and your family too Laura. We transitioned to a vegan diet this year and our bodies are already thanking us, with clearer heads, reduced weather related allergy symptoms and more. I am trying to reduce our wheat intake to see if that changes anything, though both me and my husband dont seem to have a problem with it.. trying out glutenfree foods definitely helps increase our intake of other grains.

I love the icecream and the kid approves smoothies and cookies! Wish you a wonderful 2012 with loads of fun recipes!

  17. Thank you for your support Richa. Although not all of my recipes are vegan, I try to make some each month as I believe in eating a large amount of vegetable foods daily. Many people find that their mental focus and energy improve when going off wheat and gluten. I always look forward to your yummy recipes!

  18. I must try the smoked salmon & avocado rolls!
