T-fal ActiFry Healthy Cooker Giveaway ($250 Value)!

actifry, coconut oil

Want to make your own homemade french fries or sweet potato fries at home with only 1 tablespoon of oil? How about delicious chicken wings made in a jiffy or a flavorful veggie dish? With the new ActiFry from T-fal, you can and it is so easy and fun!

I am thrilled to announce that one lucky winner will win a T-fal ActiFry Healthy Cooker and a cookbook to make some delicious recipes!

actifry, t-fal, gluten free

I love french fries, but french fries from a restaurant brimming with grease from a processed oil is not for me. I avoid most plant based oils for cooking in lieu of coconut oil whenever possible.

Thanks to the ActiFry I have now made AMAZING french fries and sweet potato fries made with only 1 tablespoon of coconut oil. My husband made a batch with olive oil and it was equally scrumptious. I think the two of us were in heaven as fried food is something that has not been in my vocabulary in a decade and something my husband knows I never make at home…until now!

The reason the ActiFry is able to cook with very little oil is because it is made with a patented technology that uses pulses of hot air along with a paddle that rotates the food for even cooking. The paddle distributes a small amount of oil over the food while it is cooking. A measuring spoon comes with the appliance to make sure you always use the correct amount of oil. Clean up is a breeze because the majority of is parts are dishwasher safe.

  1. I’D LOVE TO WIN AN ACTI-FRY so that I could start making all my family’s favorite fried foods again, in a much healthier way!

  2. gardener17 says

One of the things that made me sad when I was diagnosed with celiac disease was not being able to have one particular hamburger joint’s sweet potato fries with olive oil and rosemary (they probably weren’t that healthy anyway).  I would love to make these fries myself as well as try other combinations, and an Acti-Fry would make that very easy!

  3. I am following you on Pinterest and Facebook and I would love to win the T-Fal Acti-fry!
The T-Fal Actifry has been on my list of “Must Have” items since, I cook for my family more times than we have fast-food or eat out in restaurants. I try to budget our money and menu’s carefully so, the price tag on this  fryer is not in my budget.  I hate feeling guilty when I have to give in to my family’s demands for fried foods but; most of they time we try to eat as healthy as possible.

  9. This would be a fun family fried food treat since we do Not fry foods.  My boys would think this was so cool!
What a fun opportunity.  I also just was told to go gluten and dairy free so this is something the whole family could eat and enjoy!

  10. This would be great to have so I could make my daughters healthy, “fast food” treats, like french fries!!!! The one thing they’ve missed a lot since having to go GF is french fries from a restaurant!!!

  11. ladiibugg425 says

I have recently been diagnosed with Celiac Disease.  It has been very hard for me.  I love ChickFilA’s french fries, but have not had any since I was diagnosed.  I am scared of being cross-contaminated.  This would really help.  Thanks

  12. Following on Pinterest too!! Thank you!!!

  13. I’ve never even heard of these!  So cool!

With to young kids, one with leaky gut/adhd (both i have also) and in kindergarten, and the other is two (we all know what two year olds are like), between driving everywhere and building my own business, cooking needs to be healthy. stopping in at fast food restaurants is not an option. I would love to win this fryer because I haven’t fried anything for a long time. I grew up in Hungary where fried food is a must.. So I love fried food but the calories and grease just doesn’t fit into my lifestyle. It sounds this fryer is healthier and I would love to give it a shot.

  30. We love sweet potato fries!

  31. Would love to start frying for my family using this.

  32. I follow you on facebook.

  33. Would love to win to make all sorts of veggie fries – it looks like a lot of fun!

  34. stargazer2 says

think I should “win” the Actifry because I live on a 41 foot sailboat
and with my small galley, frying is too messy for me. But then again,
space is a premium and as much as I would love to have one of these …
storing this would be an issue! The product seems like an awesome idea
for this Southern who lives in the PNW. What a great prize for someone!
Have fun deciding who gets it … unless a drawing is how it is

  35. curatecuriosity says

Laura, I would love to have the Actifry because: 1.  I’ve “fallen off the wagon” of healthy eating and my health has been seriously compromised for the past few months–mostly psychically. 2. I grew up in the south and fried foods were a constant–and remain a comfort food, I can use all the comfort I can find now. 3. I am so impressed, inspired, and awed by what you’ve created and share with GFP. You just amaze me, from watching its first few steps, you have done wonders for so many. 4. I look forward to your recipes, and even though I am not GF (that may change), I prepare at least one of your recipes every week. 5. I would be gleeful! (And my BF needs loads of help in learning about healthy eating!)
I’ll follow you anywhere–starting with FB, Twitter, and Pinterest!

I would love to win the Actifry! My boyfriend and I are working really hard to drop more than 300lbs between the two of us and while I’ve become a master at cooking healthy meals, we miss certain things. My boyfriend loves fries. I love boneless chicken wings! To be able to have less fatty and calorie versions of these things (instead of not at all) would be amazing!

After suffering from abdominal pain and nausea for more than a year I finally figured out that I have to watch what I eat, which means SIMPLE recipes with SIMPLE ingredients and lots of fresh foods. Just one slip-up and I’m back to the beginning. The ActiFry would allow me to add some ‘fun’ back into my food prep, and perhaps some joy back into my fiance’s meals (he’s ‘suffering’ — his word, not mine).
